Accident-prone bus driver is gone
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Jerry Miller, the bus driver who was involved in a fatal accident last month, is no longer employed by the Charlotte Area Transit System.
Miller had been on administrative leave since his bus collided with Todd Weaver, a 36-year-old who was riding his bicycle at the time.
CATS said Miller had hit a planter and was returning to the maintenance garage when the accident happened.
His driving record included five other incidents.
